In NJ will there be a run off if neither governor candidate gets 50%?

And what about the NY-23 congressional race?

No. In neither place will there be a run-off. The candidate with the highest percentage wins.

If Corzine is trailing Christie by less than 5000 votes after the count, the democrats will challenge until enough votes are discounted to allow Corzine to win. They have learned that with Frankin in Minnesota.

Not gonna happen. Trend. The trend will be NJ and VA will be REPUBLICAN, it is only the beginning.

No runoff on congressional races. The most votes wins.

Nope, the Candidate with the highest Vote wins.Though I’m sure the Dems will call for a change in the rules if they lose,as they always do.Or the new Governor will spend his entire Term being called Illegitimate, like they tried to do with Bush.

1) If the independent wasn’t running Chris should win.
2) If I were a voter in the NY-23 congressional district I’d put feces on the republican lever..:-)

DON’T FLAG ME, JUST JOKING!..:-)

NO! Just as in my state Texas–largest % wins–Last Governor election in Texas there were 4 candidates and Rick Perry got less than 40% of vote but that was the high % and he won–sadly we will see it again as Perry will be challenged by at 1 Independent as well as the Dem–and do not forget that our Sr. Senator is running against Perry in the Primaries.
